The entrepreneur and motivational speaker Erich Lejeune is a symbol for all who set high goals and want to pursue them against all obstacles. In the setting of the Glyptothek in Munich, philosopher Godehard Bruentrup, S.J. interviews Lejeune, asking questions that get below the surface of this man, whose life has been so marked by success.
- When one looks deep enough, it becomes apparent that a meaningful life is characterized by more than just financial success. Family and friendship, values and ideals, gratitude and generosity are all pieces of the mosaic of Lejeune’s distinguished life, which, in this interview, stands lively and vivid against the backdrop of artistic masterpieces from classical antiquity.

When children do philosophy, they ask the same questions that adults have for thousands of years. Those questions are existential and moving. More important than getting answers is the joy of thinking creatively together...
- Children have a serious approach toward philosophy. They discover that their thoughts are important and welcome. The teacher who does philosophy together with the children does not teach them knowledge about the history of philosophy, but teaches them, how to think and to develop their own thoughts.

"And you shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants; it shall be a jubilee for you."
Leviticus 25,10
"erlassjahr.de - development needs debt relief" is a broad alliance of about 1000 member organizations like (Protestant churches, Catholic dioceses, political development organizations, one-world groups, parishes and one-world shops.
- erlassjahr.de is connected to a world-wide network of about 50 similar campaigns. These organizations condemn the high debt in many countries of the South that hinders essential investment in health, education, and infrastructure. Our focus is the unjustice of current practices regarding the debt situation.
The main goal of erlassjahr.de is the implementation of a fair and transperant arbitration by which both - creditor and debtor - can come to a compromise that satifies both.

The petrified Forest in Chemnitz
Experience the 8th Wonder of the World. In the middle of Germany, in the middle of Saxony, in the middle of Chemnitz, there you will find Europe's heaviest and biggest fossils.
Remnants of the petrified forest are already the main attraction of the Tietz cultural center.
- Because of its geological age, its botanical diversity, and its quality of preservation, the petrified wood of Chemnitz is unique in all the world. What you can see now, however, is but a small portion of what scientific surveys show there is to discover: a complete picture of the prehistoric flora and fauna preserved there by a volcanic eruption 290 million years ago.
Our film was shown on April 27, 2008 on ARD Tagesthemen (German news) and on May 8, 2008 on ZDF-Drehscheibe (German news).
